It's our fourth year of the annual Sholi "Top Lot", which is always a highlight of the year at Caravan. Each year Caravan and Sholi hold a competition among the members of the cooperative, with the top-scoring natural lots selected for the Top Lot. This year's lot is full of honey caramel sweetness, balanced with fragrant florals and notes of delicate oolong tea.

BREWING TIPS

For this year’s lot, we enjoyed brewing on the Orea. Grinding a little finer than our standard and using water at 94°/95° we brewed with a 1:16 ratio (or 60g per litre) splitting the water into 5 equal pours with 30 second intervals . For example, 18g of coffee with 5 pours of 58g.
